Road rage is a real issue, especially for drivers who find themselves stuck in heavy traffic day-after-day. Different people have different opinions as to what can keep druvers calmer behind the wheel, some are based on practicality, while others take a more hollistic approach. For now, let's talk about the logical ways you can remain calm behind the wheel and prevent road rage.

1. Keep driving experiences positive - many drivers get behind the wheel of a car to blow off steam, but that can create negative associations with driving
2. Get a good night's sleep - lack of sleep can cause road rage, so make sure you're well-rested before you begin your morning commute
3. Leave extra time - if you only leave exactly enough time to get where you need to go, it's more likely that you'll become angy if you hit a delay
4. Take a deep breath - as soon as you start yourself feeling tense, take a deep breath before you react with your driving
5. Remember, nothing is personal - you might take it personally if you get cut off, but remember that the other driver isn't doing it to spite you
6. Play calming music - music with heavy base can make people feel more aggresive, so choose more calming music to prevent road rage
