The Bubble Car became popular in Europe, in the 1950s; when a demand for a cheaper way of personal transport emerged. The car was a hit due to the fact that they had inexpensive taxes, because they where licensed as motorcycles, since unlike other automobiles they were three-wheelers. The car was manufactured in Germany, however BMW and France manufactured similar, but unlike the Germans, most of theses other cars were not sold abroad.

I'm watching a commercial the other day with this lady talking about her new car and how it really makes her life easier. She's going on and on about the new features and then she says she can run a "Diagnostic Check" and it can take the car's "vitals" and e-mail them to her or to her dealer. The GPS is a boon to all man and womankind, even those lucky enough to have been born with a significant sense of direction (this writer not included). These devices do however, have their limitations as tall buildings often interfere with signals and frequently GPS devices require 3 or 4 satellites in view before they can work reliably.

This past Friday I saw a woman absolutely lose her mind on the subway.
In Pittsburgh there are certain "major" stops that the subway stops at no matter what, and in between those are smaller stops (they don't have a booth so you have to pay the driver before exiting). For the smaller stops you have to press one of many buttons found along the interior of the cab to signal the driver to stop.
